#475  Baby Shoe Pin Cushion





This adorable hard sole baby shoe is about 5" long. Would make a wonderful little gift!

I've used a piece of an 1800's quilt top to create the pin cushion, which is sawdust stuffed to keep your needles 'n pins sharp.

I've added a few old buttons 'n pins, black safety pins, a vintage button to the laces and a wood hang tag with two different old pics of little girls sewing. Around the edge of shoe/cushion is a vintage piece of trim.

#247  1857 Pin Keep 




This adorable little pin keep will tuck nicely with your other prims and olde sewies. It measures about 5" x 2 1/2". The pin keep is stuffed with wool and Lavender buds. The design of red and green flower is from a Primitive Stitchin pattern and I've added the date 1857 as well as 3 pins and teensy turkey red X's along the border. The back is done from a scrap of 1800's quilt.
This is for the pin keep only, not my scissors, bowl or buttons.

Prairie Pin Keep.  She's a prim little darlin' standing about 6"x7" . Her blue calico bonnet  is done in Civil War repo fabric. I've added some pins to get you started and aged string is tied around her neck and frayed.

#465  Wool Flower Sewing Roll 







 

This wool sewing roll is made up of 3 shades of gray, the front being a from a vintage suit. The gold wool heart is saw dust stuffed to keep your pins sharp. There's 3 penny rug topper pins with teeny vintage buttons sewn on. And 'ol metal key is attached to the fob by perle cotton.  
There's a pocket with little scissors tucked in, yes they are included in this piece. The flap on the right has a few pins stuck in and another little pocket near the vintage button with a cardboard thread winder with more perle cotton thread wrapped around it. 
The sewing roll can be closed by wrapping the black perle cotton around the vintage silver button. It was hard to get a good picture, but this button has two little birds sitting on a heart. Adorable! 
The front has a prim wool flower motif blanket stitched on.
This piece measures about 9 1/2" x 6 1/2" open.

This little sewing roll is about 7x3" open.
It's done in blue and gray wools with lots of blanket stitchin'.

The heart is on front is stuffed and has 3 penny rug topped pins with adorable vintage flower shaped buttons. Inside is a pocket with scissors (scissors ARE included) and a little cardboard thread winder. There's 3 white head pins above and a vintage white button closer with black perle cotton.

This needle case is made of wool, with wool "pages" for your pins ( a few pins have been added to get ya started). A blue heart fob fits nicely in the little pocket inside front. There's also a back pocket to add your scissors etc. 
Lots of blue perle cotton blanket stitching holds this little piece together.
And on the front the word "CREATE" is done in bent wire and hand stitched on.

#476  Buckshot Pin Cushion




I love olde pin cushions and sewies! This one is called a Civil War Buckshot. There are 8 separate pieces done in repo Civil War fabric, sewn, stuffed and sewn together in a wonderfully unique design!  I've added an olde button on top, a few pins, rusty safety pin with green buttons hanging from it, and two hand woven and felted green wool pin tops. The pin keep is almost 4 1/2" high and almost 8" across the bottom from one point to another.

#444  Patriotic Glass Mug Pin Cushion 


  This wee glass mug resembles the old A&W mugs of long ago. It's filled with red, white and blue buttons, has a blue with white star fabric pin cushion attached with aged border around it. I've added red/white/blue pins and rusty safety pin to get ya started. This little darlin' measures about 3 1/4" to top of cushion, not counting the pins.

#490  Blue Pin cushion Needle Case Sewing Roll 


 

This sewing roll measures about 8"x4" closed. It's made of soft material in blues/tans for the outer layer and a beautiful Civil War repo in blues for the inner piece and large pocket. In the pocket I've tucked in one of my home made needle books with aged osnaburg pages and a few pins. The pocket is big enough to hold your scissors, small spools of thread, measuring tape, etc. You also get a cedar sawdust stuffed pin cushion in another CW repo, tied with aged string and 3 pins. A vintage, fabric wrapped button is sewn to the outside, however it closes with snaps. It is edged with a dark blue fleece binding.

#492  Bird Cross Stitch Pin Keep cushion 



 The design is cross stitched on 14 ct Aida and lightly stained for an older look. The bird and tree design is done in black and red with a bit of old lace hand sewn around the middle. The Civil War repo fabric shows on the bottom of the front and covers the back entirely. Dark red braid is hand sewn around the edges and a couple pins are added to the keep. It is stuffed with wool scraps and lavender buds.

This piece measures about 5 1/2" x 2" and will tuck in nicely anywhere. The x stitch design is by Maryse Dupont.

#497  Black Glass Mug Pin Cushion 

 

This adorable little pin cushion is made from a miniature glass mug... like the old kind you got A&W Rootbeer in!  It stands about 3" high to the top of the cushion. I've added several pins and an 'ol black safety pin on top. At the rim of the glass I've added a tiny black pom pom wrap and a grubby tag tied on with aged string...it reads PINS. The inside of the mug has several 'ol black buttons.

#486  Glass Mug Pin Cushion Blue 

 
Adorable 2" mini glass mug stands 3" high to the top of the cushion. The mug resembles the old A&W mugs of days gone by. The pin keep material is made of repo Civil War tiny print and there's delicate lace sewn to the bottom of the cushion, which is secured to the glass. I've started ya off with several pins and a black safety pin. It's filled with 'ol blue buttons!

#493  Wool Bunny Sewing helper







 This piece measures about 9 1/2"x5 1/2" closed.

All the inner material is wool except the aged border across the 2 pockets. You could fit a small book in the 2 side openings as well! There are 2 pockets and a red wool pocket for the scissors,which are included.

There's a greenish wool needle book with another scrap attached with a black safety  pin. inside is a lighter wool and more pins and a card with different threads wrapped around  it.

It also comes with the tube wrapped with white thread. On the front is an 'ol button and you can close this piece with the perle cotton thread.

This little darlin is made of 100% wool with plenty of feather stitchin', blanket stitchin' and french knots. It's stuffed with bits of wool and sawdust. On top  is a piece of old doily, a vintage metal button, and 3 pins are added to get ya started. About 5" long.
