#440  Punch Needle Rooster

This punch needle offering is my own design of a black and white rooster with fence and flowers. 

It's done on Weaver's Cloth with 3 strand over dyed Valdani. He's mounted on a wood oval cut by me, painted and distressed/sanded.
I've added a black wire hanger and a little pewter flower. The wood measures about 6 1/2" across x 4 1/2", not counting the hanger. A lovely little piece to tuck in anywhere or hang.

#439  Cats Punch Needle Sadie 'n Jinx 

 

Sadie 'n Jinx punch needle on a vintage EKCO 8" pie tin.

Sadie 'n Jinx is adapted from my pattern of the same name.

It's punched on Weaver's cloth with hang dyed Valdani in muted colors.

There's a wire hanger on the back or set it on a shelf or cupboard.

The grubby tag is stamped with their names and has a vintage metal key.

Tag is also secured to the tin.

They have black perle cotton whiskers and a teensy rusty bell around their necks.
